It is a great honour for us to celebrate St. Peter’s day with the family of St. Peter’s Vocational School, Kabanyonyi as the guests of honour this year.
We have supported the school to better the learners’ lifeoutcomes through empowering the learners with lifeskills to learn achieve and thrive, gone deeper to help the adolescent especially the girls navigate through their Sexual and Reproductive Health challenges.
In order to achieve this, JMERC does not work in isolation but has involved the different educational stakeholders in different capacities like the teachers, school leaders, the parents/community at large and the educational policy makers.
The special thing about St. Peter’s Vocational School is that it is a community school that serves the most vulnerable population and because of this, they go ahead to equip the learners with vocational skills like carpentry, building, brick laying and so much more.
